CuteFTP is one of the most popular FTP clients on the market. The main reason for this being so is that it is really easy to use and it is packed with useful features that, in the end, make your life easier. You can use this FTP client to upload and download files from the web or to someone else's computer, to upload and maintain your web site and so much more. The 2-panel user interface has become the most popular choice for developers when they create their FTP clients, mainly because it is the best way to save you time when you are transferring files back and forth all the time. But this is no ordinary FTP client, it allows you to do a lot. You can edit your HTML files with the incorporated HTML editor, which really saves you time when you need to give a file a final touch. However, the editor is not the most complete solution for HTML edition. All the regular features you would expect are here. CuteFTP supports file resume, file queue; it has advanced security features and encryption methods. It also includes PASV mode for connections that give you a hard time connecting. All in all, this is an excellent application which is really easy to use and has one of the most complete feature lists I have seen. In my opinion, this is only topped by FlashFXP. |
