Manage automated data and exchange operations between FTP systems and computers. Apply one or several custom scripts to optimize the management of files, including automated upload, download, relocation, and deletion. Monitor local folders for changes and manage files manually as well.

CuteFTP is intended to transfer data using FTP, and some of its versions, including FTP/S (SSL), HTTP/S (SSL), SFTP(SSH2). Its multi-panel interface is very similar to that of a standard file manager, which means that it is approachable by most users. Still, if you have any difficulty, it is good to know that there is well-structured help documentation available.

The tool lets you browse the contents of both local and remote locations. Since you can have them side by side, it is quite easy to download or upload files by simply dragging and dropping them to the desired target folder. The program can transfer any kind of file irrespective of its size, and, luckily, it can do it at a great speed and stability. Moreover, if a link is broken during the process, the tool can resume the operation without much difficulty. It is also good news that it can handle up to 100 simultaneous connections.

It is excellent that the program supports on-the-fly connections, which do not require a lot of data to work correctly. Also, it allows you to connect to password-restricted servers using the proper authentication. Luckily, there is a wizard to help you establish new connections. Moreover, since secure transfer protocols are supported, the risk of your data ending up in someone else’s hands is minimized. more
